Raw Colours X Stream WPG

We're collaborating with Raw Colours to celebrate Black History Month with an epic line-up of Winnipeg musicians.

The evening will open with vocal percussionist and founder of Black Space Winnipeg and Raw Colours, Alexa Potashnik or MC Woke. While MC Woke lays down the beat, rapper and lyricist Ndu Delta will be bringing the rhymes.

Cisha will be singing some orignals, coming off her upcoming album set to release later this year. 

Lisa Bell, former Canadian Idol contestant will headline the evening, which intends to celebrate and discuss Black History Month in Manitoba.  

This evening will be broadcasted over Facebook Live by Stream WPG and recorded by Shaw TV.

New Music Festival x The HUB Opening Night Party x Stream Winnipeg

We're proud to be part of The HUB Winnipeg's Opening Night Part for Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra's New Music Festival!

Hosted by Culture Card, January 28 will begin on the main stage with Meredith Monk's Canadian premiere of Weave for two voices, and the WORLD Premiere of Christos Hatzis' Syn-Phonia: Migration Patterns.

The afterparty will feature an evening of art, fashion, and music dedicated to the ever-growing hip-hop scene in Manitoba.

Friday Knights Clothing & Accessories is teaming up with Panache Management to put on a stellar fashion show. Zephyra Vun, creator of anARCHI design who curated the last "The Winnipeg Design Festival", is curating an art installation, photography installation, and furniture display. We have DJs from MEMETIC and DJs Lauren Barnett (G-Ma Feelgood), and Kalliane Brémault playing the best tunes.

Later in the night, prepare for an improvised performance and exchange by B-boys and contemporary dancers.

Bit Space Development is also going to be set up with an interactive virtual reality art space. Have you ever painted in thin air before? Now is your chance.

 King + Bannatyne be supply a smorgeousboard of what they do best.

If you missed them during first few shows, we are bringing back Malcolm-Jay + Beatox to perform during the evening events!

Stream WPG has partnered with host + musician Marisolle Negash to bring Come & Kick It.
Forth will play host to feel good R&B featuring a live band with some of Winnipeg's most talented musicians.

There will be an appearance by MC & vocal percussionist Alexa Joy Potashnik & music by beat maker extraordinaire FC Coconut. Let's celebrate R&B together!

Café will be open and bartender on deck. We're excited to see you all.

50 tickets are available and will be $10 at the door.

STREAM WPG w/ BEATOX + ENVOY BEATS

Stream WPG's last show of 2016 will be a flurry of talent.

Our headliner, a beatboxing rapper who combines elements of funk, jazz with lyricism and storytelling - Beatox - is bringing together a live band, which includes pianist Marisolle Negash, Sean Burke, and guitarist Jesse Popeski.

The evening will open with producer and emcee Envoy. Along with playing his originals and mixes - Envoy is featuring some of Winnipeg's best emerging rapper, which include Malcolm-Jay, Matt Wilson, Lucas Redekop, Tony Bryson, D Kap, CJ The Grey, Machina II and M-Kaps.

It's going to be a jammed packed night of talent - and a true showcase of Winnipeg's talent.

Stream WPG is excited to have Marisolle Negash as our third performer for our FREE livestreaming concert series.

Marisolle Negash is the best mix of R&B, soul and jazz - with a voice that will warm up a cold December evening.

She will be featuring a mix of new songs and a handful of 90s remakes to close our eyes and nod our heads too.

Stream WPG would love to introduce our second hip-hop artist, better yet storyteller, Scribe.

Our second FREE live performance is Saturday, Nov. 5 with doors opening at 8pm.

DJ and producer Infinity Zan will start the night off and feature a live collaboration with enchanting vocalist Cisha.

It will an intimate night of thoughtful, conversational hip-hop.

The performance will also be available to view and listen worldwide on our website, Stream WPG's Facebook Live, and 101.5 UMFM Second Stream.

NUIT BLANCHE w/ MALCOLM-JAY

With only room for 50, free admission and its awaited public launch - Stream WPG's first show will happen on Saturday, October 1 the night of Nuit Blanche.

Emcee, producer and rapper Malcolm-Jay will collaborate with Matt Wilson and Katya for an evening of hip-hop, and experimental beats between 9 and 10.

DJ FC Coconut and DJ Katsuwada will open and close the evening with some experimental producing, vinyl and live beat-making.
